A Blog Celebrating Arts Through Creative Process
A song, a poem, a picture, a bit of video art. Share your inspiration, encourage others with your perspective on the creative process, and hang around on your dedicated blog page to converse with others about the creative process and your visions of creativity.
Submissions: Send images by JPEG, writing as Word document (.doc, not the new docx yet), or a sound file. If there are any difficulties opening your work, you will hear from me shortly. Your original work, if selected, will be given an individual blog page where your additional explanation of process will be the diving board for our discussions.
What Do I submit with my creative work? it’s your choice, but the focus of Descriptive Eye is to celebrate process. That may include early inspirations or versions of the piece you choose to submit, your explanation of the actual creative process involved with the piece, and/or you discussing some of the awareness or discoveries you made while creating the piece or following its completion. Additionally, you are invited to send a brief 1-3 paragraph bio of yourself, and a photo if you wish, but that is hardly necessary. Submit this material in a second attachment or on the email.
Do I get paid? Your work on this site is provided for a one-time use on this site only. We do not provide payment at this time, but Descriptive Eye is young and the future is ahead. Should we consider publishing in print or the work requested to other sources, a request would be made of you with discussions of payment.
